I have my own business selling vintage posters of all genres at www.allvintageposters.com<\/a> <\/span>which I started after 6 years of experience working for a poster restoration company as a poster restoration artist. I love music and try to fit in time to practice playing my guitar. Green vintage jadeite glass brings me joy.<\/span><\/p>\n

Focusing on and making art is relaxing and meditative. This is especially true with throwing pottery. The process will teach you patience and adaptivity. This creative output could be a painting, a sculpture, an odd object or pottery piece. Sometimes I paint birds on eggs, wood or canvas because there appears to be something complicated going on in their heads that intrigues me. <\/span><\/p>\n

For the last year I\u2019ve been enormously satisfied with the process of making pottery. I try to make a certain item, but if the clay wants to go off and be something else, I\u2019ll just go with it. Artist’s Statement<\/strong>
\nWhat came first – the bird or the egg? My bird portraits on goose eggs bring the concept of life cycles and renewal to the fore. A saturated colour palette takes advantage of the brilliant qualities of watercolour on a white goose egg shell ground. These luminous eggs accompany a larger body of work involving birds, bees, eggs and nests. This series of work, in a range of different media, are all linked by recurring subject matter.<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n
